Annual Meeting

​

An Annual Meeting of the Society is held in May each year.  The date for the 2017 meeting will be posted shortly.

​

The St. Thomas More Award is presented to a member of the legal community, with the Bishop's approval, who is representative of the principles and ideals of St. Thomas More.

Monthly Mass
​

The Society celebrates a monthly Mass with Father Mark Gurtner on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.  The Masses are held at the Archbishop Noll Center (915 S. Calhoun St. in downtown Fort Wayne) at 12:05 pm in the 2nd floor chapel.  Non-members are also welcome to attend.

Red Mass
​

The 2017 Red Mass is scheduled for Tuesday, October 3, 2017.  Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Kevin Rhoades at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Fort Wayne with a dinner and program to follow at the Noll Center.  Robert Muise, Co-Founder of the American Freedom Law Center, will speak after the dinner.  More information about Mr. Muise can be found here:  www.americanfreedomlawcenter.org/about/leaders/robert-j-muise-esq/

Community Involvement

The Society continually seeks opportunities to assist the local community.  Its members have organized various speaking events, offered legal assistance and sponsored families in need.  

 

Beginning in the Fall of 2017, the Society will collaborate with the University of St. Francis with its new Pre-Law program.  More information will be posted soon.

Lecture Events

The Notre Dame Club of Fort Wayne and the St. Thomas More Society are co-sponsoring the upcoming Hesburgh Lecture Series event entitled "Pope Francis' Vision for the Church".  This speaking event and panel will be held at the Allen County Main Library on April 25th, 2017 at 6:00PM in Meeting room A.
